Ace Computer Training
COURSE TITLE: Word Essential Skills
LOCATIONS: Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch
If you already know how Windows works, but Microsoft Word is a mystery, then Ace Computer Training offer you ‘Word Essential Skills’ to give you the tools to create and edit short documents. There are 8 other courses as part of a suggested learning path, so this course will naturally be the ‘start from the very beginning’ offering and lasts a whole day.
The Microsoft Word training includes getting familiar with the menus, tools and screen layout of Word. You are then guided through typing a document, navigating and editing and setting up a document correctly.
Formatting and the often fraught with danger ‘envelopes and labels’ production are usefully included.
What’s not mentioned, so we assume not included, is any sort of after course care or tech support, so be sure to ask about that if you think you’ll need it. Also, consider that the Ace Computer Training ‘suggested learning path’ takes 10 days of training where many courses take 3, and a lot of 1 day courses cover a lot more ground. But if you are a complete beginner, the topics listed are certainly valuable ones.
